Foundational Beliefs     Principles     Do You Know the TRUTH?
We believe...

That recovery from addictions, healing from the wounds of past abuse, and wholeness
psychologically and spiritually can only be truly realized in a spiritual union with the Creator
through His provision of regenerational transformation in a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ ["If a person is in Christ, he is a new creation..."  - 2 Cor 5:17].

That the experience of regenerational transformation ["born again" - Jn 3:3] is just the beginning
of a growing relationship with the Creator, Father God, in Christ; and that a developmental
process of putting-off the effects of our former sin-dominated life and mentality, while putting-
on (appropriating) the "new man" character and mentality in Christ, continues through the rest of
our life experience, as God works in our hearts and minds to become more like Christ [Eph 4:22-24].

That our rate of spiritual and psychological growth in Christ can be affected by employing the
     Biblically-substantiated practices of:

            1) Counseling for the healing of emotional/pschological/spiritual wounds of the past
            2) Instruction in and application of God's life principles (revealed in Scripture)
            3) Consistent fellowship with other believers of like heart and mind in commitment to Christ
for mutual encouragement, support, spiritual ministry and accountability
            4) Mentoring relationships between proven, mature believers and those 'younger' in Christ
            5) Developing a strong, experiential personal "devotional life" (meditation and prayer)
            6) Discovering and developing personal ministry and vocational callings and gifts
            7) Developing Christ-like character and an effective style of witness

That in the relating of the Creator's message of salvation and new life in Jesus Christ, it is very
important to be sensitive and relative to the hearer's cultural lifeways and worldview, seeking
God's wisdom to as-inoffensively-as-possible communicate the pure, supra-cultural Gospel of
Jesus Christ to Native Peoples, or any other People group.

That for the First Nations Peoples of North America, because their ancestors suffered conquest
at the hands of the Europeans, ministry must acknowledge and address the generational effects
of that "historic trauma", psychologically and spiritually.

That to be effective in ministry to Native People, a residential facility for individuals and their
families would best relate to cultural customs, the need for a healing community, temporary
relief from the consuming pressures of provision, and the need for intensive counseling,
     mentoring, discipleship and support.
